The Elementary Program at the Montessori School of Sudbury incorporates Montessori philosophy and materials into the educational experience of its elementary students. The teacher monitors each child’s progress as it relates to the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum. The Montessori materials generally cover the standard school curriculum and go much further in many instances. The children also reach a high level of maturity in personal development during their Montessori elementary years. These elements combine to ensure that the children are well prepared to enter the grade appropriate to their age within the public or other private school system.
